“Vriddhi” is a training cum Production Centre managed and owned by differently-abled people. It is established as a Self Help Group [SHG] having all its 25 members from Persons with Disability (PwDs) including the person with intellectual disability and in this way, this is a kind of unique initiative that employs only PWDs for all its purposes.

Vridhi was started on 2nd Jan 2018 with the support of the Department of Social Security and Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities [SSEPD] in Odisha with the idea that “Clinical care” alone is not sufficient for the PWDs and it is required to have a comprehensive rehabilitation program including skill training with a guaranteed job to make them economically independent.
